Elizabeth Carson is a successful fashion model. She gets booked for catwalks, fashion shows and showroom. One day she gets approached by one of her best clients. He invites her to his showroom for a meeting with his partner about a new job opportunity for her as a VIC Model.
This adventure is based on a real story.
Elizabeth knows the showroom well since she has worked often for them. She is wearing an elegant white costume and high heels. Elizabeth is looking around and sees a hat she likes and therefore tries it on. She wonders what they want from her while looking at herself in the mirror.
She does not have to wait long. Both guys come to the showroom with a bottle of Champagne and glasses. They sit down at the table and tell her how happy they are to have her as their model.
“You probably wonder what a VIC model is, right? VIC stands for Very Important Client. We would like you as our new VIC model. Many times we noticed how much our clients like you and they even told us that. We think you’re perfect to take care of our VIC. They are indeed very important for our business to survive and we have to make sure to get the contracts with them. All we ask from you is to use your body more and in a “special way” when you show our collections to the VIC. You know that especially in the fashion business “sex sells” and therefore we want you to be sexy as hell. We know that you can do it. You have the most sex-appeal of all our models. What do you think?”
Elizabeth takes another sip of Champagne and says “thanks for the compliment but I’m not sure what you want me to do.”
VIC Model Test
“Ok. let’s do a VIC showroom test for tomorrow. We want to sell our new jeans collections and you will be the model. This means you have to take off your underwear and show the jeans collection wearing cowboy boots and fishnet stockings only. We have the last outfit ready for you in the bathroom.”
Elizabeth gets up and goes to the bathroom. She takes off her costume and stands in front of the mirror. “No underwear, hmm … ok. I will just do it. No big deal.”
She takes all off and puts on the white jeans jacket, belt, white stockings and cowboy boots. She comes back and plays with her hair while looking at the guys.
“Stand up and show us the jeans jacket, Elizabeth!” She’s feeling a bit weird and therefore standing sideways. Elizabeth keeps looking at the guys and the photographer.
