The 15th edition of castelgandolfo fotografia was for me a real presentation of italian lifestyle and hospitality.
I say " many thanks" again to the "presidente" Franco Russo and his crew.
It was a pleasure to be there on this nice place and meet photographers from all over the world.
Thanks also to the support of nikon italy, epson and many others.

To speak with and see the great work of Christian Keenan as a documentary and wedding photographer gave me input for my own career as a photographer.
The virtual tours created by Sergio Porrini are definetely worth more than just one visit.

My message to the participants on saturday morning was:
Photography is primarily passion ...  not technique.
La fotografia e in prima linea passione, piuttosto che tecnica.

Most photographers lack of a good connection to the model.
Models must feel comfortable. Photographers often don't use their intuition and think too much about technique.

Alla maggior parte dei fotografi manca un buon rapporto con la modella. Le modelle devono sentirsi a loro agio.
Alcuni fotografi non fanno affidamento sulla loro intuizione, dando troppa importanza ad aspetti tecnici.
